Canyon de Chelly National Monument is located in northeast Arizona. This painting was done by Milford Zornes when he was 93 years old. Late in his artistic career, he suffered from macular degeneration. Yet ever the undaunted artist, he painted using his imagination, artistic instinct, and his sense of touch.
