Dutch artist Meeuwis Van Buuren painted seascapes and dune landscapes as well as still lifes in a naturalistic, realistic manner. He lived in Rotterdam and where he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts. He is known to have painted in Norway as well as in the Netherlands. There is little on-line information on him, but a large number of his paintings are pictured on Google images and are listeted in European as well as American auction records.
